T1Mama – Living life with type1 diabetes as a mom

Last night my daughter lost one of her teeth. Now this is not the first one by any means, she’s getting to be a pro at pulling out her loose teeth. She got it all together last night, put it under her pillow, and was ready for the tooth fairy to visit last night. Fast forward to this morning and present the mom fail! Mom completely forgot to play tooth fairy! I hate when I forget these small things but what I also found out is I am not the only one that has done this. Thankfully I have a few ideas for fellow friends on how to cover! We are super cold here as most are across the US, so I am going to make a note letting her know that the tooth fairy was super cold last night that her wings froze! Then I will leave this letter in her little baggy that she leaves with her money. I would love to know what fun ideas you have had to come up with to make up for your parent fail!
